JLM Line Boring & Engineering specialize in on site machining and precision engineering of mobile and fixed plant. With over 30 years of machining experience, JLM work for a number of large companies within the mining, civil, construction and manufacturing industries. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're on the lookout for an apprentice to join their team! You could be a beginner that has recently completed a Certificate II in Engineering Pre-apprenticeship, or a current apprentice looking for their next challenge.

Key duties may include:

• Measuring and setting up jobs
• Machining to tolerances
• Mig Welding
• Learn and understanding drawings

The ideal candidate:

• Comfortable to ask questions
• Good communication skills
• Excellent work ethic
• Attention to detail
• Be able to work individually and in a team
• Strong focus on safety and quality
• Ability to perform tasks safely and within tight deadlines without compromising quality
• Hard-work and can-do attitude
• Ability to work over time if needed
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Pre-apprenticeship (desirable, not essential)
